When you want to modify your car the options are endless. You can modify the engine for better power, the suspension for better handling, the bodywork for better aerodynamics, the internals for better crash protection, and so on.
While some modifications are easy to perform and don't require any special certification, modifications that alter the structure or safety features of the car, or significantly affect how it handles are likely to need a Low Volume Vehicle certificate.
