  • B. No

    The correct answer is B

Correct. You must not stop on a motorway unless it's an emergency. If you receive a phone call while you're driving on a motorway either use a hands-free kit to answer it, or let the call go to your message service; you can always take the next motorway exit and find a safe place to stop

You can make a phone call from the motorway hard shoulder if you have broken down, for example to a towing company or for someone to come and pick you up. If you don't have a cellphone there are motorway emergency phones every 700-1200m.

If you have to make a call, either stay in your vehicle, or get out of the passenger side door and stand away from the traffic. It's best to face traffic while you are talking on the phone just in case anything happens.
