When turning right from a two-laned road into a one-way street that has two lanes, turn into the right-hand lane.
The right hand lane will be the lane closest to you. It also means that drivers turning left can turn left while you turn right at the same time without risking an accident.
Remember that cars can park on the right of a one-way street, so be careful as you turn into the road, especially if you have a long vehicle which might cut the corner.
When you reach the end of the street you will need to position your vehicle in the correct lane for the direction you are turning: right lane if you are turning right, or left lane if you are turning left. Remember that if you turn right onto a two-way road not to turn onto the wrong side of the road!
