    This sign means you could come upon roadworks where a road worker will direct traffic usually with a stop/go sign.
     
 
 
 

Driving through road works requires greater attention be paid to hazards. There will be people working on the road (or very close to the road), large vehicle manoeuvring and possibly blocking all or part of the lane, and loose surfaces that will be more slippery. 

If you see this sign it most likely means that only one lane is open and there is traffic control in place.
