If the arrow only shows a left turn, then you must only turn left. If the arrow shows straight ahead as well as left, then you can go straight ahead. You must not turn right if you have either of these signs.
When you make a left turn check that you are not squeezing the room of any cyclist on your left. This is especially important if you're in a long vehicle or a vehicle towing a trailer.
You must still indicate even though you are in a left-turn only lane.
